About Us

The Greater Kansas City Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GKCSHP) serves as the local association of the Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists representing pharmacists and related personnel associated with organized healthcare settings in the Greater Kansas City Area. 

Mission

Our mission is to represent our members, to provide leadership, to provide membership services, to foster safe and rational drug use in society, to serve as a catalyst for practice innovation toward enabling members to better serve the public interest and the profession, to provide a forum for professional and social interaction among its members.

Purpose

• To promote a high quality of professional practice through the establishment and maintenance of standards of professional ethics, education, and attainments.

• To promote research in health-system pharmacy practices and pharmaceutical sciences.

• To disseminate pharmaceutical knowledge by providing for interchange of information among pharmacists and members of allied specialties and professions.
